Fujifilm to boost LTO tape production fivefold as AI drives archiving demand

Fujifilm will invest about 10 billion yen (roughly $63 million) at its Kanagawa Factory, Odawara site, running from fiscal 2026 through 2028, mainly to produce the LTO Ultrium10 tape.
